OKUNO Mosuke

Particulars:
Mosuke was born in Fukuoka Prefecture in Japan. He was working as a farmer in Kua, Kanaky / New Caledonia when the Pacific War broke out. He had a brother in Funagoshi Mura in Fukuoka. He was interned at Loveday Internment Camp in South Australia and died at the age of 53 of tuberculosis, three months after the war ended. His grave is in the Japanese Cemetery in Cowra, New South Wales, Australia.
