Ms Kang Hsiu-lien and her daughter Ms Lim and Professor Shi-Chi Mike Lan (National Taiwan University) met with our Taipei team leaders Masaki Baba and Masako Kinoshita.
Ms Kang is the daughter of internee KANG Liong Tjwan and sister of KANG Ping Hoo, Ms Lim is Ms Kang’s daughter, and both are related to internee LIM (Rim) Kie. They will make art for their ancestors.
Professor Lan is Taipei’s historical expert on this subject.
Artist Nao Uda met with Taipei team leaders Masaki Baba and Masako Kinoshita to discuss the project. She is making art for internee ANG Shi Chin.
